Cha, cha, tja, wat zullen we eten?
Tja, tja, cha, wie zal dat weten?
Waar we met kerst achter zullen zweten.
Wie is het die ons dat zeggen kan?
Nemen we garnalensoep vooraf
daarna een pepersteak niet al te straf
daarbij een bourgogne uit een karaf
en chipolata nog als toetje dan?
En waar zullen we dan heengaan?
Waar staat de kwaliteit ons ’t meest aan?
Achter D.M. hebben ze ook nog een golfbaan
daar kunnen we ons na de tijd vermaken
en raken dan de opgedane kilo’s kwijt
in aangenaam verpozen van de tijd
zijn tevens van last door zelf koken bevrijd
hoeven ons nergens druk over te maken.
Maar weet je wat we ook kunnen doen?
Gezellig thuis blijven bij het dennengroen.
We hoeven niet persé zo duur te doen.
Eigen kost zal ons ook best smaken.
We zoeken samen uit zo het ook hoort
een heerlijk biefstukje in boter gesmoord
na het eten luisteren naar Gods woord
zodat ook de kérn ons weer zal raken.

Nee hoor Marianne, daar is echt niks mis mee. Maar waar ik vooral op wil wijzen is dat de mensen de ware kern van kerst zijn kwijtgeraakt. Als ik dat gisteren ook weer op de tv zag dat men vroeg of men de betekenis van kerst kende, lopen mij de rillingen over de rug. Groetjes; Egbert Jan |

Dat bedoel ik ook te zeggen.Kerst is de geboorte met Jezus. Ik denk dat iedereen dat ook wel weet. Maar om dat wij mensen behoefte hebben aan een stukje gezelligheid hebben wij het in der loop der jaren misschien wat te veel veranderd. Mooi gedicht. |
